From The Vault was started in 2000 by Sheila Newton.  After leaving her job at a local jewelry as the store manager and head saleswoman, she branched out on her own.  With over 25 years of experience, and a free hand in buying and designing her own jewelry, Sheila's dream of an independent, small, friendly environment has come into being. 

         Sheila has been certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in both Diamonds and Pearls.  Her experience of over 25 years in the trade has given her expertise in these areas, and many others.  Our word of mouth referrals have grown our business in the area of custom design, and it is her ability to match a person with the design they seek that has given us our popularity.  She is also the chief buyer for the store, and her discriminating eye can be seen in each piece.  Anything that is in our store has been hand picked. 

         Graham Newton is currently studying through the GIA to receive his Graduate Gemologist certification. Graham has a Graduate Diamonds Diploma from GIA. Graham does the jewelry repairs at the shop, and can help you with your custom work. He operates the CAD software for From The Vault. He is Sheila's son, and has been working in the trade for 6 years.
